I like the Writer's Strike.
It needs to be "re-(th)inked."
For one, the material is degrading, sexist, and demoralizing. Try saying any of those lines that get "studio laughs" in public and wait to get written up on the job for unprofessional behavior.
Secondly, the spokes persons for these scripts get more attention than the people witting them. Those that are good in my opinion get no recognition at all.
This is a good time to see who really is "genuine" out there.
This is a great time to find some "new people" who don't have to relie on sex, sarcasm, and rude behavior to be funny. Unless of course, "that is exactly what the sponsors are paying for."

I'm not new to the news about the WGA Strike. I've heard it the news and found out that it was going on after some of my favorite shows were being put on hiatius like, "Scrubs" and "Family Guy". And even though I have been seeing the reports on tv and everything, I still don't understand what the Strike is about. Sorry if I sound like a complete idiot to some of you, but I'd like to know what the Srike is about and why it started so I don't feel so lost and dumb. Much appriciated.
