Writers' current residuals amount to 4 cents per sale when it comes to Home Video and DVD sales. They want a mere 4 more cents. Wow. Watch out!
And for "New Media" (Internet, Podcasts,etc.) writers want to be paid. That's right, PAID. Because currently they receive nothing, nada, zilch.
Hmmm... you mean WGA members don't want to get screwed for another twenty years like they did on Home Video? Sounds reasonable enough.

i want you to know that i support you dudes to the end man. This shit can't go on, you can't let these people steps on yourheads forever, you gotta FORCE them to change their ways even if that means going on strike. Let the suckers struggle without u guys. It's high time someone teaches these ppl a lesson n put things on track. They pay you dudes the lowest yet without you guys they can't even save their own ass.
